Van Der Graaf Redux

This remarkable photo (by Fiona Lindsay) was taken during celebrations to mark Hugh Banton's 50th Birthday. The Van der Graaf Generator alumnae/survivors shown here are (Left to Right) David Jackson, Guy Evans, Peter Hammill, Judge Smith and Hugh Banton. With the exception of Guy Evans, all can be heard on Curly's Airships. In fact, the particular VDGG line-up shown here never actually played together. I left the band and recruited David Jackson for my next band, Heebalob, and he joined Van der Graaf after Heebalob disbanded.
