Curly's Guest
Book
- Gosh! Have just got the CD and still trying to take it all in - well done Judge, it is a work of beauty and mystery - it even surpasses 'Carpet Tiles' !

- Well, it's 22.44 GMT and I'm halfway through the album which arrived today. What a stunning concept and superbly realised through an amazing collection of musicians and vocalists. Well done Banton, Jaxon and Fury for musically capturing and summing up the whole idiosyncratic time continuum. Great libretto, Judge, and your singing still singularly unimpresses my dear wife and daughter, but what do they know???? Keep up the good work, old son!! I'm looking forward to the tour!!!!

- It is hard to find a comparable highlight to that Imperial Zeppelin - maybe Usher with a libretto of some CJS... Carry on, Judge ! We are waiting for the complete Requiem Mass !

- Well done Judge!!! Discovered Curly's Airships as a result of being a John Ellis / Stranglers fan, and am I glad I did!!! The Cd arrived in less than 48 hours. A truly STUNNING piece of work. I have found the best way is to play the album in the car at the highest level my hearing can comfortably stand (which is high!). I would run out of superlatives trying to explain this work, I can only recommend it strongly to anyone who is interested.

- Judge was in my sitting room drinking tea and eating cakes the other day (boxing day in fact). This was the first time I had met him, and I'm afraid I knew nothing of curlys airships (or, in fact of his previous musical exploits). I actually have some of his previous work, but didn't realise this until he pointed it out to me whilst browsing my record collection. I've not heard curly yet, but am obviously hoping for a free copy!!!! (send it forthwith, judge, or your guilty 'Gob on You' past will come back to haunt you!!!). Seriously, a thoroughly nice chap. Buy the album!

- This is what lottery money should be for - big, bold, multimedia in the true sense. And what a subject - the R101, a noble British attempt to counter the threat from Led Zeppelin (did I get my history wrong there?)

- I've now had the CD for a few weeks and am most impressed. Like Hammill's Usher it's not a CD to dip into for just one or two tracks, it has to be heard all the way through "The whole is more than the sum of its parts". But if I had to select one highlight it would be Lord Thompson's "My Princess" or whatever it's called, though I am biased being a Hammill fan! The main problem is finding 2 hours when I can dedicate myself to listening to it. Good music for baking cakes or bread to?
